Rates, Flights and Bookings

Tariff   .....

As far as I am aware, our costs don't alter between the so called 'high season and low season' and nor should yours. You just need to book a little earlier if you want to ensure your booking at a busier time. We only have one low rate of $189 per night for 1-2 people plus $30 per night per extra person. Book for 7 nights or more and receive a 10% discount off your accommodation bill.

Palana Retreat accommodates a maximum of 6 people and is ideally set up for families or two couples.

Free transfers are available from Whitemark or Killiecrankie airports for stays of 2 nights or more. A car, charged on a usage basis, is also available for your use.

If you arriving at the weekend or on a public holiday when the supermarket is closed, we are happy to do the shopping before you arrive. Just send us a shopping list and you can start enjoying your holiday as soon as you arrive.

If your preferred dates are not available, contact us anyway, we may be able to slot you in or rearrange another booking.

Car Hire   .....

A Subaru Liberty AWD is available for your exclusive use while you are staying at Palana Retreat. This is charged on a usage basis to keep it simple. There is a daily charge of $10, and just 70 cents per kilometer, which includes the fuel and that only applies after you get to Palana. With the nearest fuel a round trip of 100 km, it just makes good sense that we supply it. Free transfers are available from Whitemark or Killiecrankie airports for stays of 2 nights or more.

How to get here   .....

Sharp Airlines operate daily flights out of Launceston in Tasmania and four days a week out of Essendon in Victoria. Extra flights are scheduled for the busier times.
