$165 per night for 1-2 people plus $30 per night per extra person. Palana Retreat accommodates a maximum of 4-5 people.
 

Free transfers to and from Whitemark airport are available for bookings of more than 2 nights. A car, charged on a usage basis, is also available for your use if required.

Let us know your shopping requirements and this will be collected from the supermarket,  butcher and hotel prior to your arrival. You can start enjoying your holiday as soon as you arrive.

A 4WD Daihatsu Feroza is available for your use while staying at Palana Retreat. This is charged on a usage basis to keep it simple. A fee of 68 cents per km is charged which includes fuel usage. You only pay for the distance you cover - no daily charge.




Sharp Airlines operate daily flights out of Launceston in Tasmania and four days a week out of Essendon in Victoria. Extra flights are scheduled for the busier times.

Charter operators  also service the island from Tasmania and Victoria.

If you would prefer to come via water, Furneaux Freight operate services out of Bridport in Tasmania and Port Welshpool in Victoria. This is mainly to supply the island with goods, but does have limited passenger facilities. See www.furneauxfreight.com.au for more information.
